Robin Reese has played an integral role in the development of the optical dispensary, experiencing the metamorphosis of the optical industry here for over twenty years. She regularly attends International Vision Expo in Manhattan, educating herself on the latest fashion trends with regard to frame design. She takes classes to keep abreast of the ever-changing spectacle lens industry, learning about new anti-reflective coatings, photochromatic lenses and technological innovations in progressive multifocal design.

Robin’s creativity has given the dispensary the reputation of an optical boutique that rivals those usually found in larger cities. Robin has a wonderful sense of fashion and color. Her knowledge of lens materials and proper frame adjustment all combine to offer our clients eyewear that is both functional and fashionable. Patient satisfaction is her highest priority. You’ll immediately recognize Robin in the office-her eyewear coordinates beautifully with the outfit she is wearing. Be sure to ask her about the La Loop that also compliments her style.

Claudia Bohenski, ABOC
Optician

Claudia Bohenski, Optician is certified by the American Board of Opticianry. She is a valuable asset in Forks Optical, joining the staff as the office has grown. She received her formal Optician training in Germany, an intense course including a challenging apprenticeship. She worked at the finest establishments prior to coming to the United States, becoming skilled as an Optician.

Claudia’s technical skills are superior, and she has an appreciation for only the finest quality materials used in frame and lens manufacture. She prides herself on the “perfect fit”, addressing the spectacle needs of our clients. She also attends Vision Expo in New York each spring. Her technical expertise, along with her varied experience, offers our patients the best in eyewear selection.

Our office is staffed by very professional, courteous people. You will be greeted at the front desk by Tracy Ruth, our multi-tasking receptionist. Tracy schedules and confirms your appointments as well as verifies insurance coverage. She has a high energy level which allows her to accomplish all these tasks and still offer a smile for all our patients.

Adrienne Langen and Michelle Ross are at the front desk on a part time basis, but their presence is much appreciated, especially on Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings. They, too, multitask at the front desk and have also been trained in contact lens insertion and removal. Michelle has been trained on the OptoMap, and on all the automated equipment in the pre-test area. She enjoys explaining the benefits of this exciting new technology to our intrigued patients.

Patricia Luburich has extensive experience in medical insurance billing. She is always willing to help our patients with questions regarding their coverage. Pat “opens” the office, arriving early each day. When the staff arrives, they find their work stations in the “ready” position, prepared to serve our patients.

Anne Wentzell is our contact lens technician. She enjoys helping our new contact lens wearers with insertion/removal techniques. She demonstrates patience during the instruction time, always with a smile. She is well-trained in advising our patients about contact lens care products, as well as proper wearing schedules and modalities. Anne is responsible for placing contact lens orders and is excited to help our patients with the new on-line ordering process.

Carl Boscia has found his niche in the Optical Laboratory. Coming from a technical background, he has developed a talent for eyeglass repair, as well as expert on-site tinting of lenses. Carl oversees the computerized Santinelli Spectacle Lens Edger, allowing us to provide almost immediate optical service to our patients. He has mastered sophisticated spectacle lens mountings to accompany the latest in eyewear design. Along with Robin and Claudia, Carl provides efficient and friendly optical service to our patients.

Michelle (Shelly) Bobyak has been with Dr. Boscia for over twenty years. She exemplifies Dr. Boscia’s commitment to professionalism and service to our patients. Shelly knows many of our patients, having been our full time receptionist for years. Now, as a busy mother of two boys, she enjoys the title of “special projects coordinator.” This new web site design is one result of her diligent efforts.
